Job summary

Richardson Pioneer, a division of Richardson International, is seeking an Agronomic Solutions specialist for our Lavoy, AB location. You will visit producers on farms, assess agronomic needs, and provide soil testing and crop product recommendations to support location profitability.

You will develop location-specific trial demonstrations and tours, pursuing professional designation where possible and maintaining strong communication with customers and staff. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture required.
• Relevant agronomic experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Desirable: Professional Agrologist/Technical Agrologist or Certified Crop Advisor designation.

Responsibilities

• Visit producers on farms to identify agronomy and crop production needs.
• Provide agronomic services such as soil testing and product recommendations.
• Develop location/company-specific trial demonstrations and tours for customers.

This role will contribute to the overall success of our customers and our business - you are the one who our customers and location staff rely on for agronomic solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Visit producers on their farms and identify their agricultural needs specific to agronomy and crop production, contributing to increased sales volumes and overall location profitability
• Provide agronomic services such as soil testing and recommendation of crop products
• Develop location and company specific trial demonstrations and tours with customers.

Qualifications:

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture is required
• Relevant related agronomic experience is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Professional Agrologist or Technical Agrologist designation and/or a Certified Crop Advisor Designation
• A valid driver's license is required
