About the Company:

Horizon Ag & Turf was established in 2024 through the merger of Agland and Martin Deerline. Although the name has changed, you will find familiar faces, quality equipment, timely service solutions, and reliable parts at our dealership locations.

The Position:

You should be comfortable with both laptops and tools!

  • Be a 2nd-3rd year apprentice or a Journeyman Service Technician.
  • Enjoy working with diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
  • Passionate about repairing and diagnosing equipment.
  • Previous experience at a John Deere dealership is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Under the supervision of a Shop Foreman or Journeyman, perform diagnostics and determine necessary repairs on agricultural and outdoor power equipment.
  • Work on tractors, combines, and sprayers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software for accurate troubleshooting and quoting.
  • Keep detailed records of services, parts used, and time spent.
  • Collaborate with service/parts departments and management for smooth operations.
