Job summary

FCC in Canada is seeking a Loans Analyst, Agriculture Business Financing, to support FCC’s business financing lending with financial analysis, sound credit judgment and risk-focused loan structuring.

You’ll be part of a national underwriting team collaborating with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk and Underwriting to assess risk, prepare submissions, complete loan admin tasks and ensure loan policy alignment, while delivering timely underwriting guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, economics or agriculture.
• Minimum four years of lending or agriculture experience.
• Solid understanding of agriculture financial structures.
• Experience in financial analysis, credit adjudication, or underwriting.
• Proven ability to build effective partnerships with colleagues and customers.
• Proficiency with common software applications and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Review customer information, financial spreading and analysis for credit submissions.
• Confirm credit requests meet policy before approval.
• Prepare clear rationales and recommendations identifying risks.
• Review and approve loan inputs and details within authorities.
• Support Relationship Managers with underwriting guidance.
