Job summary

Central Ontario FS, a division of GROWMARK, Inc., is seeking a general labour role in Ayr, ON. The position involves operating equipment, loading/unloading, organizing goods and preparing shipments for delivery.

Additional duties include blending fertilizer and seasonal snow removal. A valid driver’s license is required; DZ license is an asset. English communication and basic math are essential, with overtime in spring and fall expected.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record; DZ license is an asset.
• Able to lift 55 lbs.
• Experience operating skid steer, loader or bobcat.
• Read maps, bills of ladings and follow safety rules; logs and directions.
• Conversational English; basic math skills.
• Willingness to work extra hours in spring and fall.

Responsibilities

• Operate straightforward equipment and complete general labour duties.
• Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks or trailers by hand or forklift.
• Transfer goods, organize received items and prepare for shipment.
• Blend fertilizer.
• Receive grain and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing to standards.
• Remove snow in winter months.
