Job summary

Redhead Equipment Ltd.’s Swift Current branch is hiring an Agriculture Equipment Service Technician (Mechanic). The role covers inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of equipment in our service shop, with consideration for Level 3 or 4 apprentices or equivalent experience.

The ideal candidate will have apprenticeship trade training in relevant equipment or similar trade experience, with diagnostic skills and the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship trade training is preferred.
• Journeyperson certificates like welding and millwright may be considered.
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills required or valued.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Our branch in Swift Current has a career opportunity available for an Agriculture Equipment Service Technician (Mechanic). This position is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of equipment at our service shop. Level 3 or 4 Apprentices will be considered or those with similar experience at a dealership.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• Apprenticeship trade training in Agricultural Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Automotive or similar trade experience would be an asset.
• May consider other Journeyperson certificates like welding and millwright
• Mechanical and/or computerized diagnostic skills
• Proficiency reading and interpreting hydraulic & electric schematics
