Job summary

Redhead Equipment Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Heavy Truck Service Technician at our Estevan branch.

The role focuses on inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of truck and trailer units, including SGI safety inspections, with opportunities for ongoing training. Qualified candidates will have strong mechanical abilities and experience with diagnostics, hydraulic/electric schematics, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Overall mechanical ability and willingness to perform hands-on repairs.
• Experience and/or formal trade training in mechanics.
• Proficiency with OEM diagnostic programs for trucks/trailers.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Commitment to customer service and quality workmanship.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service truck and trailer units.
• Perform SGI safety inspections at the Estevan branch.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic tools to isolate faults and verify fixes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and document work performed.

Redhead Equipment has an exciting opportunity as a Experienced Heavy Truck Service Technician who is able to perform SGI Safety inspections, be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and service of truck and trailer units at our Estevan branch.

Overall mechanical ability

Experience and/or formal trade training in mechanics

Commitment to customer service and pride in quality workmanship

Positive and team-oriented attitude

• Journeyperson is an asset, however equivalent experience will be considered.
• SGI Saskatchewan Safety certification
• Class 1A license is an asset
