Job summary

Richardson International’s Richardson Pioneer division is seeking Agribusiness Summer Students to support agronomic services, crop inputs, and grain handling at Ag Business Centres across Saskatchewan. You will work with our teams to help farmers during the growing season and gain hands-on experience in a leading Canadian agribusiness.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Agriculture degree or diploma, have a valid driver’s licence, and are motivated, organized, and good communicators.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of Agriculture.
• Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Agriculture degree or diploma in Agronomy/Plant Science/Soil Science.
• A valid driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with crop input retail activities.
• Scout crops for weeds, disease and insects.
• Soil & tissue testing.
• Assist with the purchase, storage and shipping of grain.
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our farm customers.
