Job summary

Airbus Canada Limited Partnership in Mirabel, QC, is seeking an Agent of Materials Management to ensure timely delivery of parts for A220 production. You will work with cross-functional teams across Mirabel, Québec, Mobile, AL, and globally.

You will manage orders, monitor stock, and optimize supplier performance in a collaborative, autonomous procurement operations environment. The role requires a bachelor’s or college degree in operations/industrial management with 2+ years’ experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in operations management or industrial management with two years or more of experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite.
• Bilingual French and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Validate requirements and ensure delivery execution of purchase orders.
• Manage purchase order placement and administration (receiving, snags, invoices, inventory, stock settings).
• Analyze delivery delays and prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize production impact.
• Monitor supply chain performance (receiving, stores, transport, shipping) and manage discrepancies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams (SCQM, CM, Engineering, Methods, Quality, Production, Strategic Procurement).
• Manage non-quality parts (Repair, Returns).
• Provide global visibility of stock levels and supplier action plans.
• Define recovery plans with production teams if needed.
• Understand the overall Value Stream Mapping of products.

Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche Agent de la Gestion de l'Approvisionnement pour rejoindre notre équipe de Procurement Operations Airframe basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada), où vous travaillerez conjointement avec des équipes multifonctionnelles basées à Mirabel, Québec, Mobile, Alabama ou ailleurs dans le monde.Vous ferez partie de l’équipe Procurement Operations chargée de l’approvisionnement des pièces requises pour la fabrication de l’avion de modèle A220. L'organisation de l'équipe est établie de manière à promouvoir la collaboration transversale de manière autonome, en se soutenant mutuellement et en apprenant collectivement. Votre rôle en tant qu’ Agent de la Gestion de l'Approvisionnement sera de vous assurer de la livraison des pièces requises à temps et de bonne qualité à notre client qui est la ligne de production.

Your Challenges

• Validate requirements and ensure delivery execution of purchase orders
• Manage purchase order placement and administration of related activities (receiving, snags, invoices, inventory, safety stock settings...).
• Analyze delivery delays and prioritize supplier deliveries to minimize the impact on the production chain
• Monitor supply chain performance (reception, stores, transport, shipping, etc.) and manage discrepancies
• Ensure supplier interaction with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures
• Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Supply Chain Quality Management (SCQM), Compliance Management (CM), Engineering, Methods, Quality, Production and Strategic Procurement.
• Manage non-quality parts (Repair, Returns, etc.)
• Provide global visibility of stock levels.
• Obtain and follow supplier action plans to maintain optimal levels
• Define the recovery plan with the production teams if necessary.
• Understand the overall “VSM” (Value Stream Mapping) of your respective products.

Your Boarding Pass

• You hold a bachelor's degree in operations management or industrial management OR a college diploma in the same fields, with two (2) years or more of experience.
• You have good priority management and multitasking skills.
• You have good knowledge of software such as Excel, Google suites.
• You have knowledge and experience with SAP.
• You are bilingual (French and English written and spoken).
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Travel Required: Occasional travel within [country] & Overseas
• Possible on-call duties during week-ends and/or holiday seasons.
