Job summary

Sagkeeng Child & Family Services, Inc is seeking a mature Full-Time Agency Driver to provide safe transport for children and families to visits and appointments. You will supervise visits, support children in care, and maintain detailed notes and documentation.

Requirements include a valid Class 4F driver’s license, access to a safe insured vehicle with at least $2,000,000 liability, and satisfactory background checks. Strong communication and note-writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school or equivalent with related experience considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Safe and timely transport of children or families to and from family visits/appointments
• Supervision of family visits, ensuring all are safe
• Provide support to children in care and families
• Detailed note writing and documentation

Education/Experience:

• Minimum completion of high school; or a combination of education and related experience may be considered

Requirements:

• Valid Class 4F Driver’s license
• Full access to a safe and insured vehicle; with a minimum of $2,000,000 liability
• Satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry and Drivers Abstract
• Active cellular phone
  

Special Skills:

• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write short or detailed contact notes
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification preferred
