Job summary

Toromont Cat in Sudbury is seeking a Warehouse Person to join our team and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations to deliver superior service to internal and external customers.

As an Afternoon Shift role, you will work with the Caterpillar brand, uphold safety policies, and participate in training programs to grow within our Toromont team. The role offers flexible schedules and potential opportunities across Eastern Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe and environmentally sound work behaviours.
• Perform all daily parts warehouse duties, including processing shop and customer orders, stock receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts, and handling freight and stock transfers.
• Ensure customers' needs are met in a professional manner.
• Help maintain the parts inventory (physical and electronic).
• Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis.
• Safely operate lift truck.
• Package and ship dangerous goods.
• Assist with organization and control of inventory.
