Raytheon ELCAN in Midland, Ontario is hiring 15 Manufacturing Associates for the afternoon shift in Assembly & Production. You will interpret blueprints, handle precision components, and operate calibrated tools to assemble products.

This role offers a signing bonus, a $2.00/hour afternoon shift premium, a 4-day work week, comprehensive benefits, and on-the-job training to grow your skills while contributing to world-class optics.

What You Will Do:

• Assemble products with precision by interpreting blueprints, specifications, and workflow instructions.
• Handle precision components, including optics, and operate calibrated tools, measuring equipment, and machinery.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality, using strong attention to detail and visual acuity to identify imperfections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocols.
• Perform basic computer tasks and data entry to support production tracking and ensure efficient processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable and familiar working with the metric and imperial system.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.

• Flexibility to work the afternoon shift and adapt to extended periods of standing or sitting.
• Familiarity with maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

The starting rate for this position is $20.00/hour plus a $2.00 afternoon shift premium.
