Job summary

Aztex Enterprises is seeking an organized Afternoon Production Team Lead to supervise the production crew and ensure smooth operations during the 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM shift. The role focuses on aligning workflows, monitoring output, and maintaining quality.

You will reallocate staff as needed, hand off to the Morning Team Lead with detailed notes, and actively participate to push key operations forward while upholding accountability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Workflow: Use the TV systems at each work station to ensure employees are working on the right jobs in the correct sequence, according to due dates.
• Assess Performance: Regularly check each worker's output to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Address Bottlenecks: Identify production bottlenecks and collaborate with the Day Team Lead or Management to resolve them quickly.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure completed orders are packed and shipped correctly. Match output to the signed art proof for a 100% quality check.
• Team Coordination: Reallocate team members to different production tasks to cover absences or vacations as needed.
• Shift Hand-off: Complete the handoff from the Day Team Lead and leave detailed notes at the end of the night for the Morning Team Lead to ensure continuity.
• Be a hands-on leader who understands the most critical needs in production and actively participates to push key operations forward when needed.
• Leadership & Accountability: Understand all production processes and hold the team accountable for performance issues that impact production quantity and quality.
