Job summary

BV Glazing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Concord, Canada facility. You will perform preventative maintenance on motors, automated machinery and related equipment, work with production teams to minimize downtime, and ensure a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in a similar capacity, knowledge of electrical systems and repair methods, and the ability to read diagrams and instructions. Independent work and teamwork skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment controls and repair methods.
• Able to read and interpret operating and repair instructions.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Follow manufacturer diagrams, operation manuals and specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow safety policies.
• Report updates and safety concerns to Supervisors and Management.
• Troubleshoot issues, locate mechanical problems and assess downtime impact.
• Fabricate parts to repair or replace components as needed.
• Manage inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
