Job summary

In this role you will perform environmental screening, operate thermal chambers and vibration tables, document results, and collaborate with engineers, production teams and management to meet tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience assembling and testing complex electro-mechanical systems.

• Experience with environmental screening and large test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex schematics, ensuring accurate assembly and testing procedures.
• Assemble electro-mechanical units with precision and adherence to process; apply primers/sealants as required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot motors, sensors, and harnesses to maintain performance.
• Investigate defects with senior staff and contribute to process improvements.
• Conduct environmental tests using thermal chambers and vibration tables.
• Balance multiple tasks to meet production timelines and goals.
• Collaborate with operations engineers and teams to solve technical challenges.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of tests, maintenance, and fixes.
• Handle customer-owned equipment with care and ensure quality compliance.
• Suggest and implement improvements to optimize system quality and workflow.
