Job summary

Ben Machine is a Canadian leader in defense and aerospace manufacturing. We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer, Operator and Inspector to join our afternoon shift team and help ensure the highest precision in our components.

The role focuses on programming and operating CMM systems, generating AS9102 documentation, reading blueprints, and applying GD&T to fit tolerances. Prior aerospace experience is preferred and confidentiality and security checks apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in mechanical inspection
• Experience with CMM programming and operating software
• Preference for aerospace experience
• Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in mechanical inspection an asset

Responsibilities

• Program and/or operate CMM for inspection of precision machined components.
• Complete first-off and in-process inspections independently.
• Use appropriate manual inspection tools, fixtures and indicators.
• Generate and prepare CMM reports and AS9102 First Article Inspection reports.
• Read and interpret blue prints.
• Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• All other duties as assigned.
