Job summary

Modine is seeking a Cleaner to maintain floors, restrooms, and common areas on the afternoon shift (3:00PM–11:30PM, Monday–Friday). You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize, ensuring restrooms and lunch rooms are well supplied and orderly.

Reporting maintenance issues and following safety protocols are essential, with a collaborative approach to upkeep. Ideal candidates will follow schedules, communicate effectively, and maintain clean work areas in a respectful, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Following schedules to ensure cleaning in designated areas.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Notifying management of any damage, repairs, or deficiencies in the facility.
• Safely operating and maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Communicating effectively with staff and supervisors regarding tasks and supply needs.
• Ensuring facilities are clean, neat, and orderly.

Responsibilities

• Floor maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and potentially waxing and polishing floors.
• Surface cleaning: Dusting furniture, shelves, countertops, and fixtures.
• Restroom sanitation: Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, toilets, showers and counters, replenishing supplies.
• Lunch room maintenance: Cleaning appliances, countertops, sinks and floors.
• Waste disposal: Emptying trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.
• Supply management: Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies.
• Specialized cleaning: May include cleaning windows, mirrors, walls, or upholstered furniture.
