YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford is seeking an Early Learning Facilitator to manage before- and after-school programs in local schools. You will develop age-appropriate activities for children 4–12, mentor staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in shared spaces.

The role requires at least 2 years in licensed child care, CECE/OCT or related qualification, and strong English communication. Flexible hours, benefits, and career growth opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a licensed child care setting.
• Membership in CECE or OCT or a related diploma/degree in Child and Youth Care, Recreation and Leisure, Social Services, Education, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of child development, safety, and regulatory requirements (CCEYA).

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and lead activities for children aged 4–12 to meet developmental needs.
• Ensure health and safety and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Coach and mentor assistants, supervise children, and coordinate with school staff.
• Maintain documentation of activities and development, and manage snack procedures.
