Job summary

St. Michaels University School in Victoria, BC, invites applications for an After School Care Worker (Casual) starting November 2026. Qualifications

• Knowledge of BC Child Care Licensing Regulations.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must pass or maintain a clear Solicitor General criminal record check.
• Must have First Aid and CPR certification; at least 20 hours of relevant training in child development, guidance, health and safety or nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and lead engaging after-school programs for children aged 5–11.
• Set up and clean up after activities and sessions.
• Guide and supervise children within the After School Care program.
• Attend team meetings, staff meetings, and relevant trainings.
• Ensure licensing regulations are understood, practiced, and followed.
• Perform other duties as required.
