Job summary

Insight Global, a leading aerospace-focused employer in Longueuil, QC, seeks a Systems Engineer to drive design and development of ground station processing center applications for engines with data acquisition and transmission systems. You will lead an Agile team across the full software lifecycle.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, engineers, OEMs and IT, with 5x onsite weekly work and flexible hours to accommodate project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Software Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace, focusing on system software design.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with JIRA, TFS and GitHub for CM and version control.
• Bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of ground station processing center applications for engines with data acquisition and transmission systems.
• Own the full Agile software development lifecycle from concept through maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, software developers, IT, operators, OEMs, and engineers to ensure high-quality solutions.
