Position: Aerospace Supplier Quality Representative
Location: Montreal, Canada
Duration: Minimum 6 months

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
- Lead, assess, and investigate supplier quality issues.
- Plan and execute complex, cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Participate in quality reviews, PMRs, and governance meetings with senior management (Directors).
- Identify opportunities for improvement in team efficiency and stakeholder collaboration.
- Define corrective actions and improvement plans with suppliers.
- Propose innovative solutions and manage their deployment for complex issues.
- Perform risk analyses for complex solutions.
- Develop communication strategies for decision-making processes.
- Analyze data and generate KPIs on supplier quality performance.
- Manage RNC/VRNC quality tasks requiring MRB approval.
- Provide technical support and coaching on quality tools to team members and stakeholders.
- Act as a mentor and contribute to defining strategic departmental plans.
Additional responsibilities (if required):
- Plan and conduct FAI reviews.
- Perform source inspections.
- Review and approve quality documentation (e.g., dropship forms).
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in aerospace industry.
- At least 7 years of experience in quality management.
- Extensive problem-solving and root cause analysis experience.
- Proficiency with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, etc.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is an asset.
- Experience with commodities like completions (seats, galleys), operation parts (machined parts, composites), major structures, or systems.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and international standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read blueprints and check dimensional properties, including GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Net Inspect, Discus, SAP is an asset.
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges, and calipers.
- Ability to work independently as a role model.
