Job summary

You will work closely with engineering to optimize tooling, routines and process flows while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong CATIA V5 and VERICUT skills, GD&T knowledge, and the ability to read complex drawings.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in NC programming using CATIA V5 and VERICUT.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Organized, works well under tight deadlines, and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Program aerospace components using CATIA V5 (5-axis machining).
• Generate and submit APT source programs; validate G-code with Vericut.
• Develop electronic work instructions for manufacturing (operator manuals).
• Troubleshoot machining issues to meet delivery schedules.
• Develop methods and macros to reduce programming time.
• Prepare machining strategy estimates including time estimates and cycles.
