Job summary

StandardAero in Slemon Park, PEI, is seeking an Engineer to design, test, and implement advanced aerospace technologies. You’ll investigate engines, support operations, and collaborate with global teams to ensure safety and reliability.

The role emphasizes problem solving, technical leadership, and continuous improvement within a production environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent experience.
  • Membership or eligibility for Engineers PEI.
  • Ability to work in an office and production environment, including extended periods at a computer and at various locations within the facility.
  • Willingness to walk between facility areas and wear safety footwear.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Generate work scope instructions for engines removed or requiring expanded maintenance.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and prepare technical reports for OEMs, customers, and regulators.
  • Review non-conforming products and initiate process improvements.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for engines not meeting test requirements.
  • Support Shop areas by resolving technical questions and concerns.
  • Provide technical support for customer on-wing engine issues through internal teams.
