Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead aerospace and defense projects in North America. You will own project scope, schedule, and budget, coordinating cross-functional teams across time zones to ensure delivery excellence.

You will work closely with clients, manage contracts, and implement risk controls while maintaining high-quality standards. Fluency in English and French is preferred, with a strong client-facing aptitude and experience in engineering consultancy or OEM

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering, or Methods and Tools development.
• Experience in engineering consultancy and/or Aircraft OEM preferred.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Minimum 7 years in the engineering field.
• Project management experience in the aeronautics industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage aerospace projects with full lifecycle oversight.
• Understand technical scope and optimize ways of working.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget deliveries within scope.
• Coordinate internal resources with Engineering Manager.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor execution.
• Manage project risks and changes using formal methods.
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
