Job summary

Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Company, is seeking a General Machinist in Windsor to manufacture aerospace components across several production stages. You will operate CNC machines, perform precision grinding, and ensure compliance with AS9100 and safety standards.

Must have 3–5 years of CNC experience, proficiency with multiple controls, and ability to read blueprints and GD&T. Overtime and weekend work possible; union environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years CNC machining experience.
• Experience with tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better).
• Experience with one or more CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, Okuma).
• Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation required.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machine platforms.
• Perform precision grinding (Surface, OD, ID, Thread).
• Machining aerospace alloys (Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum).
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance.
