Job summary

itec group, based in Vaughan, is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator for day or afternoon shifts. The role focuses on programming and operating CMMs, interpreting GD&T drawings, and ensuring aerospace components meet strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CMM experience, proficiency with PC-DMIS or Calypso, and strong GD&T knowledge. Responsibilities include generating reports and collaborating with QA, Engineering, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience programming and operating CMMs in precision manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read GD&T drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Experience preparing and interpreting CMM inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CMM equipment for dimensional inspections.
• Interpret GD&T drawings and specifications to establish inspection requirements.
• Develop and modify CMM programs (Calypso/PC-DMIS) for repeatable results.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections on machined components.
• Measure complex geometries and tolerances using CMM equipment.
• Analyze inspection results and generate dimensional reports.
• Identify non-conformances and communicate issues to Quality/Engineering.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with aerospace standards.
