Job summary

Janicki Industries, an aerospace-focused firm, seeks a Designer to join our on-site Hamilton, WA team. You will develop 3D CAD models, ensure manufacturability, and collaborate with engineering, production, and customer teams to deliver design packages that meet rigorous aerospace standards.

The role emphasizes GD&T proficiency, complex surfacing skills, and effective communication. Eligible candidates may require U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; experienced candidates may substitute.
• Experience with PLM systems (SAP/ECTR) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English (written, verbal, graphical).
• Proficiency with CAD tools and design for manufacturability principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD models and ensure compliance with aerospace standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producible design packages and assist with tooling and documentation.
• Lead and participate in design reviews with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate feedback.
• Maintain detailed documentation, BOMs, and revision histories.
• Communicate status and address roadblocks as required.
• Apply GD&T and create complex parametric assemblies.
