Job summary
Kyte Dynamics | Aerial Robotics Co. is seeking an Embedded Firmware & Controls Engineer in Richmond, BC. You will develop low-level software powering our aerial platforms, focusing on embedded firmware, real-time controls, motor-driven systems, and precision motion.

Qualifications
- Strong programming in C/C++ and firmware development for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time control loops and motor-driven electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with embedded sensors, actuators, and hardware/software interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded firmware for robotic and electromechanical systems.
- Write, test, and debug real-time software for microcontrollers.
- Implement state machines, safety logic, telemetry, and system monitoring.
- Design closed-loop control algorithms for motors and actuators.
- Integrate encoders, IMUs, and motor controllers with embedded platforms.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and flight-controls teams.
