The role

As an AEM Developer, you will play a key role in developing Adobe Experience Manager solutions, focusing on client needs. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and share knowledge with team members.

A successful AEM Developer is adaptable, shows initiative, can work independently, and is eager to grow professionally. The role requires writing quality code, understanding the project and software development lifecycle, and delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment.

Role responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA, and solution architects to deliver high-quality AEM solutions within deadlines and budgets.
• Provide backend solutions within AEM best practices.
• Write elegant, high-performing code on the AEM platform.
• Participate in story refinement and requirements analysis.

Develop solutions according to user stories

• Follow agile methodologies.
• Create clear technical deliverables such as designs, documentation, and prototypes.
• Ensure secure development practices and standards compliance.
• Identify issues and improve architecture, performance, code, or processes.
• Participate in development and improvement activities proposed by architects or technical leaders.

• Creating and configuring editable templates and policies
• Creating Sling Servlets and OSGi Services
• Debugging and problem resolution
• Managing AEM assets
• Consuming third-party APIs
• User access management and ACLs
• Knowledge of workflows
• Implementing unit tests

Preferred qualifications

• AEM Developer certification or related
• Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns
