The Canadian Bar Association is seeking an Advocacy Lawyer to design, manage, and deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with its strategic priorities. You will liaise with government officials, Parliamentary staff, internal stakeholders, and members on business, environment and immigration law matters.
Ideal candidates bring five years of bar experience, strong bilingual communication, and the ability to coordinate complex advocacy projects with diverse committees and task forces.

Reporting to the Chief Advocacy Officer, the Advocacy Lawyer designs, manages, and delivers high-impact initiatives aligned with the CBA’s strategic priorities, while liaising with government officials, Parliamentary staff, internal CBA stakeholders, and members. Current priority areas include business law, environment and energy law, and immigration law, though assigned files may evolve with organizational needs.
Bilingualism is required (English and French)
