Key Responsibilities:

• Establish economic and financial scenarios for Capital Market Assumptions (CMAs) and stress tests.
• Develop and enhance analytical tools and econometric models for economic and financial analysis.
• Contribute to the economic research agenda, assessing various countries, sectors, and global markets.
• Collaborate with other teams to support strategic asset allocation and currency hedging decisions.
• Respond to requests from the CIO, Board of Directors, and Senior Management, providing macroeconomic assistance.
• Stay updated on best practices in economic analysis and conduct research to identify opportunities for enhancing returns.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years in economic and econometric analysis within investment or policy-making sectors.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomic trends and their impact on financial markets.
• Advanced quantitative and data analysis skills, with proficiency in econometric modeling and forecasting.
• Ability to communicate complex economic concepts clearly to non-specialists.
• Strong collaborative skills and adaptability to changing conditions.
• Proficiency with econometric packages (Eviews, Python, R, etc.) and financial market databases (Bloomberg, Haver, Datastream, etc.).
