About The Team

The Dynamic Asset Allocation and Currency Management (DAACM) team, within the Chief Investment Office, manages rebalancing activities across asset classes and currencies to align with our investment targets.

About Your Role

As an Advisor / Senior Advisor, you will influence our investment strategies across public and private markets. Your economic expertise will guide asset allocation and currency decisions, aligning strategies with economic trends and forecasts.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Developing economic and financial scenarios for Capital Market Assumptions and stress tests
• Enhancing analytical tools and econometric models for market analysis
• Contributing to economic research on countries, regions, sectors, and markets
• Collaborating with CIO teams for asset allocation and currency hedging recommendations
• Responding to requests from senior management and providing macroeconomic support to investment teams
• Staying updated on economic analysis best practices and identifying opportunities to improve PSP’s returns

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in economic and econometric analysis within investment or policy sectors
• Strong understanding of global macroeconomic trends and their market impacts
• Proficiency in econometric modeling and data analysis (Eviews, Python, R, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly
• Collaborative mindset and effective teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions
• Bilingual in English and French
