Job summary

Fidelity Canada invites applications for a Student, Advisor Sales role spanning Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. This contract position provides exposure to investment products and client servicing in a dynamic, student-friendly environment.

You will work with the sales team to learn the sales process, conduct fund analysis, create reports and deliver presentations while gaining cross-functional knowledge across Fidelity. Hybrid schedule and hourly pay 23–27 CAD.

Qualifications

• You are working towards a university degree with a concentration in finance, commerce, economics, or business
• You have a keen interest and knowledge of the financial industry and capital markets
• You can manage short term database projects and assist in various sales initiatives
• You can identify and qualify sales opportunities by gathering competitive and marketplace intelligence
• You must be currently enrolled in a registered co‑op program to be considered for these positions
• You must also be available on a full‑time basis for the duration of the co-op term

Responsibilities

• Understand how Fidelity products and services are presented to investment professionals
• Partner with our sales teams to learn and understand the sales process from start to finish
• Learn about current market trends through presentations from Fidelity’s top portfolio managers

How you’ll make an impact:

As a student in Advisor Sales, you will be working closely with the sales team in maintaining their high level of client servicing as well as assisting in identifying new business opportunities to further drive the business forward.

Competitive Pay for Specialized Talent

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring. The undergraduate hourly rate ranges from $23.00 to $27.00, based on experience and qualifications.

We offer market‑aligned rates that recognize the specialized skills and agility required for this role. We’re proud to offer a compensation package that aligns with provincial pay transparency requirements.
