Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be part of the Procurement Department. You will play a key role in strengthening procurement excellence across major capital projects. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving procurement processes, templates, tools, and best practices that support consistency, compliance, audit readiness, and operational effectiveness. You will work closely with project and procurement teams, act as a trusted resource by providing guidance on procurement processes, documentation standards, governance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also support digital enablement efforts, training programs, and the adoption of standardized procurement practices across projects.
Support the development, maintenance, continuous improvement and documentation of procurement processes, procedures and supporting documentation.
Promote consistent application of Agnico Eagle Mines procurement standards and governance requirements across projects.
Translate policies and business requirements into practical tools, workflows, and user guidance.
Support procurement audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action initiatives.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain procurement templates, forms, evaluation tools, and standard documentation.
Ensure templates and documents remain current, practical, and aligned with organizational requirements.
Support the review of procurement documentation for completeness, consistency, and quality.
Contribute to procurement document control and standardization initiatives across project teams.
Support the implementation and adoption of procurement systems, reporting tools, and digital solutions.
Assist in defining business requirements and testing solutions to support procurement transformation initiatives.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve procurement efficiency.
Monitor user feedback and recommend enhancements to improve effectiveness and user experience.
Serve as a key resource for procurement processes, systems, and documentation standards.
Develop and deliver training, onboarding, coaching, and knowledge-sharing programs.
Provide practical support and process guidance to procurement and project teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, engineering, construction, finance, legal, and project management functions.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
Significant experience in procurement, supply chain management, contracts, or project procurement.
Experience within mining, construction, industrial projects, or other large capital project environments is considered a strong asset.
Strong understanding of procurement governance, processes, controls, and documentation requirements.
Experience supporting audits, process improvement initiatives, or business transformation projects.
Familiarity sourcing platforms, contract management systems, and reporting tools.
Knowledge with ERP systems (JD Edwards) is considered as an asset.
Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and project teams.
Bilingualism (English and French).
Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.
Workplace: Possibility to work in one of AEM's offices closer to your residence in Rouyn-Noranda, Preissac, Val-d'Or, Mirabel, Timmins, Kirkland Lake, North Bay, Sudbury or Toronto. There is a possibility to have a hybrid work schedule, working some days from an AEM office and some days in telecommuting.
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
