A leading financial services firm in Quebec seeks an experienced Investor Relations Advisor to support financial communications and promote company values. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience, a relevant degree, and excellent skills in communication, analysis, and project management. As an Investor Relations Advisor, you will play a key role in iA Financial Group's financial communications strategy and in promoting the company to financial markets, institutional investors and the Board of Directors.
As an Investor Relations Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities include:
Participate in drafting financial disclosure documents for financial markets and the Board of Directors, focusing on profitability and developing key messages that highlight the company's performance.
Analyze financial performance and resolve complex issues related to market perception, disclosure, or crisis management by leveraging internal resources and proposing innovative solutions.
Present and explain financial issues to diverse audiences, adjusting the level of complexity and answering strategic and technical questions.
Support senior management in preparing and presenting content for internal and external audiences, including investors and analysts.
Plan and organize investor events, coordinating logistics, preparing content and facilitating strategic discussions to promote the company’s value.
Maintain and develop relationships based on trust with financial analysts, institutional investors, credit agencies, and the media in order to support iA's reputation and credibility.
Establish an industry watch, analyze best practices to continuously improve financial disclosure and develop initiatives to better promote iA's long‑term value.
Has a university degree in actuarial science, accounting or a related field, and at least 10 years of relevant experience.
Is known for their ability to grasp various complex financial concepts quickly and understand strategic issues.
Stands out for their analytical and synthesis skills, as well as their problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Is recognized for their event planning and project management skills.
Advanced proficiency in English, as the individual will be required to communicate with partners and give presentations to English‑speaking clients on a regular basis.
Advanced proficiency in French, as the individual will be required to communicate with partners and give presentations to French‑speaking clients on a regular basis.
