Job summary

iA Financial Group is hiring a Business Development Coordinator for Ontario. You will work with the Ontario Distribution Team to deliver exceptional Advisor experiences, support onboarding, manage marketing allowances, and coordinate events and reports. Some travel may be required.

The role emphasizes collaboration across departments, compliance, and ESG initiatives, with a starting salary around $50,000 and a commensurate progression based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relevant administrative experience.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of life insurance sales strongly desired.
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Effective problem solver with initiative to create innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including in-person and social platforms.
• Superior time management with multi-tasking ability.
• Positive service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to evaluate results and pivot when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships.
• Fluent in French and English strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Advisor onboarding processes: Welcome email, user access setup, notify teams.
• Troubleshoot Advisor Portal access issues.
• Provide support with inquiries from Advisors, staff, vendors, and wholesalers.
• Manage and track Marketing Allowance budgets and events.
• Use PowerBI to provide data and reports for Advisor segmentation and projects.
• Assist in analyzing national and regional sales data.
• Coordinate delivery of national sales and marketing programs like Knowledge Program.
• Plan and execute events such as PD Days, Regional PPI Days, Advisor Conferences.
• Maintain and update key contact lists.
• Ensure materials meet national brand standards.
