The University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks an Advising Outreach, Assessment, & Retention Manager to engage students in academic decision-making and promote responsible choices. This full-time role involves supervising staff, developing outreach strategies, and ensuring holistic advising services to support student success.
Join the Admitted Academic Advising Team in the Wisconsin School of Business as an Advising Outreach, Assessment, & Retention Manager! In this pivotal role, you will engage students in decision making processes and promote appropriate and responsible choices on academics matters such as course selection and degree requirements. In this role you will maintain appropriate confidentiality, update student advising records, and contribute to the development of academic advising related programming. You will be responsible for managing the teams communication portfolio, develop outreach strategies, create and implement assessment strategy, lead assessment development, and advise a caseload of admitted business students.

Required
Bachelor's Degree
Required:
- Two years of experience working in higher education
Preferred:
- Experience advising or supporting undergraduate pre-business or business students in a higher education setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities with accuracy and attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Experience using student data, assessment tools, or reporting systems (e.g.,Tableau, Starfish, Advising Gateway) to inform advising practices and improve student outcomes
- Evidence of building and maintaining collaborative relationships with students, advising staff, faculty, and campus stakeholders
Full Time: 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Ongoing/Renewable
Minimum $65,000 ANNUAL (12 months)
