AdventHealth in Florida seeks a Radiology Technologist to manage CT and MRI exams, ensuring high-quality imaging via post-processing tools and strict adherence to protocols. The role includes collaboration with radiologists, technologists, and other departments to maintain patient care standards.

The ideal candidate has 3+ CT/MRI experiences, ARRT credentials, and a commitment to ongoing education and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Process all exams in the 3D Imaging Laboratory using established protocols.
  • Utilize post-processing software to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Review studies for quality and coordinate with radiologists and technologists.
  • Educate and support scanning technologists on technical matters.
  • Act as a resource for CT and MR staff on processes and equipment issues.
  • Perform technologist QA for designated modality when required.
  • Assist in training new 3D Laboratory technologists.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and report needs.
  • Attend department and mandatory meetings and communicate outcomes.

Job Description:

SHIFT: Sunday8-6:30, Tuesday 1-11:30pm, Wednesday 1-11:30pm, Thursday 8-6:30.
  • Processes all exams designated by the 3D Imaging Laboratory using 3D Laboratory protocols.
  • Utilizes post-processing software proficiently to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
  • Reviews studies for quality, communicate issues with performing technologists, and consult with Radiologists.
  • Educates and support scanning technologists on technical and quality issues.
  • Acts as a resource for CT and MR staff regarding processes, protocols, and equipment issues.
  • Performs technologist QA for designated modality when required.
  • Assists in training new 3D Laboratory technologists as assigned.
  • Maintains a properly organized and clean room, requesting work orders as needed.
  • Consistently attends department meetings and other mandatory meetings.
  • Follows through after completing appropriate exams with communication to appropriate departments.
  • Ensures compliance with post-processing protocols and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Experience:

  • 3+ CT and/or MRI experience [Required]
  • PACS experience specific to AGFA [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
  • Registered Technologist -Radiology RT(R)(ARRT)[Required] OR
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) [Required] OR
  • Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging RT(MR)(ARRT) [Required] OR
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography RT(CT)(ARRT) [Required]
