Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Nova Scotia is looking for Registered Cardiology Technologists to perform electrocardiograms and other diagnostic tests. You will work across various sites and community-based locations, mentoring new learners and ensuring the highest standards of care. Candidates with current registration and relevant clinical experience in ECG procedures are preferred. This role offers competitive hourly compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus successful completion of a Cardiology Technology program or acceptable equivalent.
• Current registration and good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
• Recent clinical experience and proficiency in ECG procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests.
• Prepare patients for ambulatory monitoring and stress testing.
• Mentor new learners in the department.

Skills

Proficiency in performing EKGs

Clinical experience in ECG Department

Strong sense of initiative

Ability to adapt to a flexible workload

Competencies in French

Education

Grade 12 plus Cardiology Technology program

BLS(HCP) certification
