Job summary

A leading automotive company in Peel Region is seeking an Experienced level 3 or 4 Automotive Service Apprentice to join their team at Kia of Brampton. The successful candidate will diagnose vehicles, assist technicians, and ensure service guidelines are followed. Key qualifications include being a registered apprentice, a valid Ontario Driver’s License, and a strong mechanical aptitude. The role offers a full-time permanent position with competitive pay ranging from $20 to $26 per hour and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • Previous Kia experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform multiple duties in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and good driving record.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to Kia specifications.
  • Examine customer vehicles and recommend needed service.
  • Ensure the shop is clean and tidy, and assist full-time technicians.
  • Assist assigned technicians as needed.
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
