Strive Living Society is seeking a Residence Worker for our Adult Staffed Living site in Kelowna, BC. This part-time role offers a supportive environment with extensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

The right candidate should have experience with Behavior Management, Personal Care, as well as a Medication Administration Certificate.

Job Duties Include but not limited to:

• Knowledge and experience working with developmental, physical disabilities, mental health and behaviours
• Ability to create a meaningful routine
• Knowledgeable of creating independence vs. creating dependence
• Following health care plans*
• Completing daily documentation
• Implementing personal protocols, schedules, and activities
• Knowledge and experience with community integration and teaching life skills
• Meet the physical requirement of the role
