The Asset Data Specialist (18-month Contract) is responsible for the management and governance of asset data within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders to support ongoing data requests and inquiries, execute data acquisition/divestment and validation activities, and ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of asset data throughout its lifecycle. The Asset Data Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain trusted, high-quality asset data that supports regulatory compliance and safety requirements, enhances decision-making, and enables effective work management.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to:
- Efficiently manage day-to-day requests related to asset data updates and stakeholder inquiries
- Define, document, and execute business processes to support effective asset data management
- Independently manage ongoing asset data initiatives and projects with minimal supervision
- Maintain asset data quality by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with defined sources of truth
- Build and sustain strong business partner relationships with key stakeholders, including Asset Integrity, Maintenance, Operations, Facilities Construction, and ITS
- Create and maintain CMMS data for locations, packages, and assets, including the establishment of hierarchical relationships
- Analyze supporting data from source systems such as ProdView, EZOps, and StackDX to reconcile data discrepancies

Experience Requirements
The successful candidate needs to have experience in the following areas in order to be qualified for this role:
- Minimum of 3 – 10 years of progressive experience in asset data management within the oil and gas industry
- Working knowledge of Asset Integrity and Rotating Equipment, Electrical, and Instrumentation (E&I) equipment
- Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), including asset creation, data governance, and data quality management
- Demonstrated ability to manage large datasets, analyze data from multiple source systems, and resolve data discrepancies
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Information Management, Business, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
