Position Title: Admissions Officer

Ridley College is looking for an Admissions Officer to attract, evaluate, assess and process new students for the school.

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate, assess and process student applications for admission according to established criteria.
  2. Conduct student interviews.
  3. Analyze and present recommendations regarding enrolment/retention trends.
  4. Coordinate Information Sessions presenting school programs, faculty teaching methods and facilities.
  5. Represent the school, its program and mission to the external community.
  6. Produce updates for assigned portfolios.
  7. Participate in the effective management of applicant pool with timely, personalized attention and feedback.
  8. Notify applicants to complete testing, attend orientation and interviews, provide specific documents and advise on the status of acceptance via routine correspondence.
  9. Participate in student testing (SSAT), Open Houses and weekend duties as required.
  10. Fluency in English and ideally a second language in related to translation services, written communications, and document review will be a component of the role.
  11. Travel when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree or other related post-secondary study.
  2. Minimum of 1-3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Fully fluent speaker and writer of English and a second language is preferred.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of and success with placement directors and educational consultants.
  5. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate across different ages and cultures, with demonstrated sales skills.
  6. Organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  7. Ability to work in an office setting and a virtual setting.
  8. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom and Skype.
  9. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  10. Experience in business domestic and international travel – must have a current passport.
