Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admissions Advisor to join our team. This role is key in connecting with prospective students and guiding them through the admissions process, ensuring a positive experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and career goals.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  2. Must have previous experience in admissions at a Canadian post-secondary institute.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Knowledge of educational programs and career pathways.
  7. Familiarity with CRM systems and other admissions software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  1. Outreach and Engagement: Connect with prospective students via phone calls, emails, and text messages to provide information about our educational programs and increase enrollment.
  2. Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, offering detailed information about our programs, admissions process, and career opportunities.
  3. Admissions Interviews: Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability for our programs and provide personalized guidance on program requirements and career paths.
  4. Application Assistance: Assist students with the application process, including reviewing applications and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and admissions decisions in our database.
  6. Collaborative Support: Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth transition for admitted students and address any concerns that may arise.
  7. Recruitment Events: Represent the institution at recruitment events such as college fairs and open houses, promoting our programs and engaging with potential students.
