Administrator – Brant Christian School - Principal

The Palliser School Division invites highly motivated educators, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, to apply for the position of Principal at Brant Christian School. The position will begin on August 25, 2025, or on a mutually agreed date. The successful candidate will possess a clear vision for student learning, a deep understanding of effective research-based pedagogy, a commitment to collaborative leadership, a solid understanding of school improvement processes, and sensitivity to community needs.

Located in the Hamlet of Brant, AB, supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, Brant Christian School provides an excellent, affordable Christian education in a beautiful country setting. The goal of BCS is to help each student develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and to discover and utilize the unique gifts that God has given them. The aim is to train and equip students to grow as effective ambassadors in churches and communities.

Job Requirements
  1. Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (or in the process of obtaining one)
  2. Valid Alberta Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification, or eligibility for same
  3. Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  4. Exemplary teaching and administrative experience
  5. Strong leadership and management skills
  6. Commitment to establishing positive working relationships with staff, parents, and community partners
  7. Knowledge of indigenous cultures, traditions, and values, and experience in building partnerships
  8. Experience in multi-grade classrooms
  9. Willingness to explore innovative approaches to learning
  10. Student-focused leadership, dedicated to excellence in an inclusive environment
  11. Effective leadership fostering innovation, collaboration, respect, and trust
  12. Ability to work with parents and stakeholders to support student development
  13. Strong interpersonal skills
Additional Qualifications
  • A commitment to Christian education
  • Provide a Statement of personal Christian Faith and a letter of Pastoral reference (required)
