Job description

Will possess a clear vision for student learning, a deep understanding of effective research-based pedagogy, a commitment to collaborative leadership, a solid understanding of school improvement processes, and sensitivity to community needs. Job Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (or in the process of obtaining one)
2. Valid Alberta Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) Certification, or eligibility for same
3. Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
4. Exemplary teaching and administrative experience
5. Strong leadership and management skills
6. Commitment to positive working relationships with staff, parents, and community partners
7. Knowledge of indigenous cultures, traditions, and values for partnership building
8. Experience in multi-grade classrooms
9. Willingness to explore innovative learning approaches
10. Student-focused leadership, dedicated to inclusive excellence in student learning
11. Effective leadership fostering innovation, collaboration, respect, and trust
12. Ability to collaborate with parents and stakeholders to support student growth
13. Strong interpersonal skills
