Devereux Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Switchboard Receptionist in Rutland, MA. The role covers greeting callers, visitors, and coordinating front-desk activities while supporting emergency procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
  • 3 years relevant experience in administration, preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Must be able to attend 3 days of paid new hire orientation Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for callers, visitors, clients, families, staff and community partners, maintaining a professional, calm, and helpful presence at all times.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, greet visitors, and assist with initiating and following emergency procedures.
  • Assist with clerical tasks such as mail sorting and distribution, copying and faxing, booking conference rooms, and occassional data entry/updates.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.30 per hour, depending on education and experience.

This position is located in Rutland, MA.

The available schedule is Friday and Saturday 4pm-10pm and Sunday 8am-4pm (20 hours per week), with the opportunity to cover additional shifts if desired when needed.
