Qualifications

Oliver Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a permanent part-time (0.70 FTE) Administrative Services Assistant to join their team. This position involves rotating day shifts and may include assisting with vacancies in Osoyoos and Keremeos.

What Will You Work On?

In this role, you will perform reception, administrative, and Health Unit Aide support duties, including data entry, organizing, collecting, verifying information, typing correspondence, preparing presentations, arranging meetings, and transcribing minutes. You will also handle scheduling, client appointments, cash transactions, and maintain medical supplies and equipment. Clinical support tasks include cleaning, sanitizing, weighing babies, calibrating equipment, and delivering supplies. You may work with clients who are confused, anxious, or difficult.

What Should Your Application Include?
  • A 5-minute typing test (40+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months.
  • An office administration certificate from a recognized institution.
  • Your resume outlining at least one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A cover letter stating your availability to start and your availability for on-call, casual work.
