This is an onsite position that supports two of our transitional care units, with time split between the North York and Richmond Hill locations. Reporting to the TCU Manager, the Administrative Clerk will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information in accordance with the organizational philosophy, policies and standards.
You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders as well as scheduling patient tests and/or treatments. You will also be responsible for performing a range of administrative activities in support of the Transitional Care Unit.
Dependent upon Provincial government regulations, and the position being applied for, new hires may be required to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID-19, Hepatitis, Seasonal Flu etc. Please speak with the recruiter for Provincial and/or position specific requirements.
