About this Position

The Administrative Assistant will support the Healthy Campus Team Manager and team members, ensuring smooth daily operations through efficient coordination and organization. This is a limited-term, part-time role (16 hours/week) focused on enhancing team efficiency.

Responsibilities
  1. Administrative Coordination (40%): Organize workshops, oversee the Personal Skills Certificate program, manage logistics for meetings and events, prepare documents, support committees, and ensure compliance with university policies.
  2. Financial Administration (30%): Monitor budgets, reconcile accounts, process payments, and develop tracking processes for team spending.
  3. Office and Communications Management (30%): Serve as the first point of contact, manage inquiries, handle internal communications, maintain office supplies, and draft documents.
Qualifications
  • One-year post-secondary certificate or equivalent
  • 18-24 months relevant experience in a post-secondary institution (asset)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Experience with scheduling, minute-taking, budgeting, and report writing
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of issues related to the Healthy Campus Unit (asset)

Salary: $23.39 - $29.58 per hour
