Job Description

Intertek is searching for an Administrative Assistant to join our Caleb Brett team in our Montréal, Québec office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Administration!

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting our Laboratory and Operations Departments in various administrative activities.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with composing, reviewing, and formatting various Excel & Word documents and reports
  • Invoicing: compile hours worked, out-of-pocket expenses, and related charges for services rendered
  • Compile and distribute reports, invoices, and communications via email (Outlook)
  • Create documents, letters, and administrative communications for department managers
  • Manage Purchase Orders and record tracking
  • Assist with Accounts Payables, including vendor invoice coding and submission
  • Perform data entry in various internal and external systems
  • Assist the receptionist with incoming calls occasionally
  • Copy and compile documents for file management
  • Support daily office needs and administrative activities
What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role
  • Proven experience as an administrative or office assistant
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • High School diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant is a plus
